AGM and Dinner Dance

Dear [[firstname]]

We would like to make you aware of a couple of date changes to the squash club calendar.

Our Annual General Meeting 2023 will now take place on Wednesday 7th June from 7pm. This is instead of the originally planned meeting on Wednesday 24th May.

We have had to make the decision to cancel the Dinner Dance on Saturday 27th May due to lower than anticipated numbers able to make the event. The clash with the start of the school holiday in particular has meant many of our members are unable to attend. It is not a decision the committee has taken lightly as we were looking forward to celebrating our award with everyone that evening. Anyone that has paid for this event will of course be fully refunded.

We will now be celebrating our award at the Summer Family BBQ event on Saturday 24th June, where we are delighted to confirm there will be a silly sports day followed by live music from ‘The Norman’s’ plus disco and dancing. so please save the date. This means the whole family can come and celebrate together.

We also have the Club Closed Competition Finals on Saturday 20th May, the junior comp starting from 12:30pm and the finals of all the categories from 5pm.

Then from 7th June (after the AGM) there will be the return of the internal MATS (mixed ability team squash) competition for players of all abilities to be involved in.

We look forward to seeing you at these events.

Kind regards

The Committee
