England Squash - Club of the Year!

In case you haven’t seen it via the clubs WhatsApp chat or on our social media profiles, we are delighted to confirm that the club has been awarded Club of the Year for 2022 by England Squash!
Following nominations from many of our members and then being shortlisted, a panel of judges from England Squash selected us as the winners!
Feedback from Mark Williams (chief executive of England Squash) is that they only hear good things about Biddenden Squash Club and the stuff we do is being shared with other clubs around the country! We were even sought out by Englands national coach for congratulations!
A group of our members went up to celebrate and accept the award which was presented by Gina Kennedy.

A special mention also to Lorna Lancashire who made it to the final 5 shortlist for Coach of the Year!
We are planning to celebrate this achievement at our Dinner Dance on Saturday 27th May at the Weald of Kent Golf Club (Headcorn) so please save the date and keep your eyes peeled for more details about this.
The committee would like to thank all our members for making the club what it is meaning we were even considered for this award, let alone won it. So many people contribute to the running and organisation of everything that goes on so the award really is for the whole club so-
