Court booking changes
Hi [[firstname]],
The committee wish to advise of the following court booking changes that were approved at the AGM recently. These are a first step designed to promote better court usage / availability. We continue to look at a longer term cashless booking system.
So for now the changes are as follows:
* Peak courts now run Monday to Friday - 5:20pm to 8:00pm. All other times including all weekends remain off-peak.
* All court fees remain frozen at £4.00 peak; £2:40 off-peak
* Only one (1) peak court can be booked per day for peak courts. Multiple off-peak courts can be booked by a member.
(Please note the following nuances. 1. If player A books a peak court to play player B. Then player A can’t book another peak court for the same day. However player B will be able to book a peak court on the same day. 2. On the day a player can book a second peak court should it still be available)
In terms of longer term, the attendees at the committee gave a very convincing show of hands to move to a cashless court booking system. The committee will continue to investigate the options out there and plans required to migrate across.
