Please check your Racket Grips!

Dear [[firstname]]

Unfortunately there has been some damage to the floor on Court 1 (furthest from the bar) with marks being left.

These marks are consistent with those caused by a deteriorated grip that then ‘sheds’ and falls on the floor. More often than not you will also have marks on your hands.

These bits of grip are then trodden into the floor boards and are very difficult to remove unless the whole court floor is sanded!

The grips often deteriorate if left in a bag for a period of time without use.

This damage seems to have occurred in the last 2 days.

We ask that all players please check their grips before playing and replace them regularly to avoid this happening again. Grips are available in the bar or online or Karakal ones through Chris Gorman.

Looking forward to seeing a return to squash as the summer holiday starts to come to an end.

Kind regards
The Committee
